Applying for Media Credentials

Media credentials are available for qualified members of the media, including print, television and online writers, reporters, editorial staff, bloggers, publishers, film crews and photographers. To apply, you must complete a media registration application and submit the required documentation. All media registration applications and credential requests are subject to approval by Global Pet Expo Show Management.

Please note: There is a new application process and credential for social media influencers. For more information on how to apply for influencer credentials, click here. Please apply for only one credential (either media or social media influencer) based on the credential that best fits your professional qualifications.

We highly encourage the media to apply for their credentials by March 15 before traveling to the show. Anyone who arrives on-site without advance registration and/or the required media qualifications and documentation for registration should know that show accreditation/registration (and, therefore, entry onto the show floor) is not guaranteed.

Registration Approval

Review of your media registration application is contingent upon receiving your application and accompanying documentation as specified above.

Upon receipt, Global Pet Expo's Public Relations team will review your materials and notify you of your registration approval or denial, or to request additional information/materials for further review.

Please note:

  • A history of previous attendance at Global Pet Expo does not guarantee registration approval or waive the application or accreditation/documentation requirement.
  • Global Pet Expo staff reserves the right to deny an applicant media credentials if an applicant does not provide sufficient or qualifying documentation.
  • Misconduct or misrepresentation of position and/or publication/news organization may result in loss of media credentials and jeopardize future attendance.

  • Non-editorial media such as sales, marketing and advertising staff or executives (including company presidents and general managers).
  • Public relations professionals (agency- or company-based).
  • Industry consultants.
  • Personal blogs, forums, communities and user groups tied to a product or service provider or that Global Pet Expo Show Management does not deem appropriate.
